Any other activity: Lions Club of Baroda Pragnachakshu 5 states music and cricket competition is held every year.
All participants will be paid monthly stipend by Lions Club Society of Baroda & the tutor will be blind for both academies & they will be paid remunerations & trainees for the sports academy will be blind & for the music academy trainees will be sighted & blind & Sports academy sighted tutor will help for smooth running. National level trainers are selected for the academics & national Champion have also registered for training.
What is done: Two Academies started to impart sports training to Pragyachakshu in Shotput, Discus, javelin throw, Chess, Football, and Cricket, training will be provided free of cost & training will be imparted for vocal singing, tabla, drums, keypads, harmonium, guitar, classical music, etc & normal citizens will also be trained at nominal fees & this projects will give income to Pragyachakshu and they can participate in various competitions at local, state, national, international including para Olympics.

Other details: The Baroda Association For The Blind & Lions Club Of Baroda have been jointly organising 5 State Pragyachakshu music Competition for men & women and Pragyachakshu 5 State Cricket Tournament and Gujarat State Chess Tournament and Sports Competition for Pragyachakshu for Gujarat State. For the last 15yrs and has given national-level, players to the country and recently Pragyachakshu CA. Darpan Inani was facilitated for winning Para Asian Games Gold Medals in Chess and has been inspiring to the Chess competents he is an alumnus of the club’s school Baroda High School Alkapuri. Our trained Pragyachakshu musicians have their own bands and orchestras and they are earning lacs of rupees.
Future plans about the project: to hold the national level Championship of Pragyachakshu and start the Pragyachakshu Crickret Association of Baroda.
